a. Breakfast Bites — June 3rd, Britin was the speaker talking about Georgetown's history. We had a
really good crowd. We are ramping back up to it, hopefully by September we will be able to get
back to coffee and snacks.
b. Blazin' Beer Crawl — Date August 7'h, 3-6 p.m. Ticket sales are going well, we have already sold
25% of the tickets in the first week. Working on getting a few more Breweries. We have 6 now
and a goal of 12.
c. Labor Day sidewalk sale — we will schedule a meeting soon. Send out information to businesses
for sign up.
d. Partner updates — Chambers president has resigned, in the process of searching for new
President/CEO. Working on Downtown incentives. Arts & Culture board — took action to do some
new banners for Downtown, they are going to highlight some of the culture district. Very colorful
and positive messages on them. They also have two murals that are in the works. One is the
Georgetown HS that is going up tomorrow. It promotes kindness. It is going to go on the side of
Tejas Meat Market. What's cool about this project is it's the first of many. They will continue to
work with GISD and give the students opportunities to have their artwork selected. At the end of
this month the other will be on the back side of Georgetown Title. Preservation Georgetown are
kicking off their grant program.
e. BRE visits — K. McAuliffe met with Lark & Owl and Wag Heaven, both are doing well.
