The City of Georgetown Civil Service Commission met on March 11', 2022, at 8:30 a.m. at Georgetown
City Hall — Large Conference Room — 808 Martin Luther King Jr. St. Georgetown, TX 78626
In attendance were; Commissioners Gordon Pierce & Luis R. Zamot; Tadd Phillips, John Sullivan, Jeff
Davis, and Robyn Iverson
Call to Order at 8:30 am
Regular Session
(This Regular session may, at any time, be recessed to convene an Executive Session for any purpose
authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551).
A. Consideration and possible approval of minutes from January 3, 2022
a. Motion to approve by Commissioner Luis Zamot, 2"d Commissioner Gordon Pierce, 2-0
B. Consideration and possible action to certify the eligibility list from the Fire Life and Safety
Specialist promotional examination
a. Motion to approve by Commissioner Gordon Pierce, 2"d Commissioner Luis Zamot, 2-0
C. Consideration and possible action to certify the eligibility list from the Firefighter/Paramedic
entry examination
a. Motion to approve by Commissioner Luis Zamot, 2"d Commissioner Gordon Pierce, 2-0
D. Update to Commission related to Civil Service items by Civil Service Director
a. Discussion on upcoming promotional exams for the Fire Department and Police
Department
b. Discussion on upcoming Police Officer entry exam
c. Discission on upcoming Civil Service Commission meetings
d. Discussion on Fire Department ceremonies
