Detailed explanatory information on the items listed below is compiled in an agenda packet which is distributed to the Mayor and each member of the Council. An agenda packet is also available at the Public Library, for the use of interested citizens. One Councilmember will draw a two-year term, and two Councilmembers will draw three-year terms. Please see the attached copy of Page C-7 of the Georgetown Charter. At the time of election to office, each Councilmember and the Mayor shall beat least twenty-one (21) years of age, shall be a citizen and qualified voter of the State of Texas and the nt of Georgetown and a resident of the Council District the member would be representing fora period of twelve (12) months as of the last legal date for filing. No member of the Council shall hold any other office or employment under the City Government while a member of said Council, nor hold any paid employment under the City Government within two (2) years thereafter.
