A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF7,GEO,RQETOWN,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, CITY MANAGER, AND SECRETARY OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, TO EXECUTE A DEDICATION AND
PLAT OF A TRACT OF 2.62 ACRES IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING ALL OF BLOCK 19 AND ALL
OF BLOCK 32, BOTH OF THE ORIGINALTOWNSITE OF GEORGETOWN,
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, ALONG WITH CERTAIN PORTIONS OF WEST
FIFTH STREET AND WEST STREET, IN SAID, CITY,
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, Texas, has acquired
a tract of 2.62 acres of land, being all of Block 19 and all of Block 32, both of the Original
Townsite of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, together with certain portions of West
Fifth Street and West Street, in said City; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown is the owner of all
of said property, with the exceptions of Lot 2 and a portion of Lot 7, Block 19 (to be known
as Lot 2, Block R, South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Addition to the City of Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas, after re -platting), which is owned by Rubenia Parker Smith; the
East one-half of Lots 3 and 4, Block 32 (to be known as Lot 8, Block R, South San Gabriel.
Urban Renewal Addition to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, after re -
platting), which is owned by William Edgar Taylor; and the West one-half of Lots 3 and 4,
Block 32 (to be known as Lot 9, Block R, Wouth San Gabriel Urban Renewal Addition to the
City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, after re -platting), which is owned by Dora
Gadison; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that said acreage be divided into lots for the
purpose of disposition of said tract of land; that streets be dedicated for the public use, and
that a plat of said area containing the field notes to the same be filed in the proper records
in the County Clerk's office in the Courthouse of Williamson County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain instruments setting forth the area to be designated
as Lots I through 10, Block R, South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Addition, be signed and
executed by qualified officials of the City of Georgetown, the same to contain such conditions
and restrictions as set out and contained in the Urban Renewal Plan, which is now on record
in the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas; now therefore be it
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the Chairman
and Secretary of the Board of Commissioners of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, along with the other property owners mentioned above, owners of that
certain tract of land designated as Block R of the South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Addition
to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas be and they are hereby authorized to
file for record in the Office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, the map or
plat of said tract attached hereto, and the said County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas,
is hereby authorized to accept for filing and to record said map of said tract of land; and be

on First Reading, and the same is so passed can First Reading, the Second Reading being dispensed
with for the reasons set forth herein.

FIELD NOTES FOR URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY
Vacation of 5th Street from the. West margin of West Street to the East margin of Hodges Street
BEING all of 5th Street which lies West of the West margin of West Street and extends to the
East margin of Hodges Street as shown on the official map of the City of Georgetown, Williamson
County, Texas, and being more particularily described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Block 19 in the City of Georgetown, Williamson County,
Texas, said point being where the West margin of West Street intersects the North margin of 5th
S treet;
THENC`l. West, 240.00 feet along the North margin of 5th Street and the South boundary lineof
Block 19, to the Southwest corner of Block 19, said point being on the East margin of Hodges
Street;
THENCE South, 60.00 feet, crossing 5th Street and along the East margin of Hodges Street, to
the Northwest corner of Block 32;
THENCE East, 240.00 feet along the South margin of 5th Street and the North boundary line
of Block 32 to the Northeast corner of Block 32, said point being on the West margin of West

Plat and Dedication of said acres in the City of Georgetown, Williamson
County, Texas, including the necessary dedication of any streets therein, and
the inclusion of such conditions and/or restrictions as may be necessary under
the Urban Renewal Plan as heretofore adopted and recorded in the Deed Records
of Williamson County, Texas.
