AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND
EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE
SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS,
AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS
OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS
AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND
ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, all of the hereinafter described land is owned in fee simple by
the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and being described as follows:
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of
Georgetown, Texas, and is not more than one-half (1) mile in width, and,
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas:
That the foregoing described property be and the same is hereby annexed to
the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and that the boundary limits
of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include
the above described territory within the city limits of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits
of said city, and said land and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter
be entitled to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said City.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of Georgetown,
Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all members of the City Council, this 14th
day of August 1972, and passed by affirmative vote of all members of the City
Council on the 2nd reading this 11th day of September, 1972.

BEING all of that certain tract of parcel of land lying and being situated
about three miles north of the said City of Georgetown in Williamson County,
Texas, and being a part of the David Wright survey, abstract number 13,
in said County and also being a part of that certain tract described as
containing 1171.0 acres in a deed from Mrs. E. E. Williams to the said
Mrs. Maggie Hausenfluck, which said deed is dated May the 8th, 1922 and is
recorded in Volume 203, Page 643, of the Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas, and being that same tract of 598.69 acres described in a deed
O dated January 24, 1942 of record, Volume 312, Page 121, Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas. SAVE A EXCEPT those tracts fully described in
V
instruments of record as follows;
V Volume 312, Page 204, Volume 312, Page 205; Volume 330, Page 359; Volume 339,
Page 437; Volume 450, Page 640, all in Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas, reference being hereby made to said instruments and their records
for all purposes and containing approximately 487.482 acres more or less.
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of
Georgetown, Texas, and is not more than one-half (1) mile in width, and,
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas:
That the foregoing described property be and the same is hereby annexed to
the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and that the boundary limits
of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include
