The Georgetown Economic Development Corporation met on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 4:15
PM at City Hall, 808 Martin Luther King, Jr Street.

1.0 Financial report
Consideration and presentation on the FY2023 GEDCO third quarter financial report -
Nathan Parras, Assistant Finance Director
Nathan presented the Quarterly Financial Report and answered questions from the
board.
1. D Staff Report
Discussion regarding the Staff Report - David Morgan, Georgetown City Manager
• Cameron presented the staff report.
• Upcoming Events: Business Appreciation Lunch & Bowl, Georgetown
Manufactures Alliance Meeting, National Manufacturing Day Tours for GISD
Highschool Students & Leadership Georgetown
• Cameron and David gave a recap of their recent trip to South Korea with
Wiliamson County Economic Development Partnership.

Action from Executive Session - Kevin Cummins, Board President
Project Innovate was presented but no action taken.
Moved by Barrie A Laing; seconded by Robert Hilton to Approve Project Flex Circuit as
presented by staff in Executive Session..
Motion Approved: 4- 0

Voting Against: None
2. Executive Session
In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Vernon's Codes,
Annotated, the items listed below will be discussed in closed session and are subject to action in the
regular session.
2.A Economic Development Negotiations
Section 551.087. DELIBERATION REGARDING ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT NEGOTIATIONS.
Deliberation regarding commercial or financial information that the corporation has
received from a business prospect that the Georgetown Economic Development
Corporation seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the City of
Georgetown and with which the Corporation is conducting economic development
negotiations; and/or deliberation regarding the offer of a financial or other incentive to a
business prospect that the Corporation seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near
the territory of the City of Georgetown.

GEDCO entered into Executive Session at 4:42 PM and returned to Regular Session at
5:05 PM
