1.D Project Team & Partner Updates
Discussion on Project Teams, Partner updates, and BRE Visits - Kim McAuliffe,
Downtown and Tourism Director
Fundraising - Christmas ornaments sold out and we made around $10,000.00 for
our Facade program. This year we would like to feature the Courthouse because it
is Williamson County's 175th Birthday
Swirl update - Ticket Sales and Sponsors went great, we collected around
$20,000.00 in sponsorship and $30,000.00 in Ticket sales. After expenses we are
looking to clear around $32,000.00 to contribute to the Facade program. We have
struggled with Restaurant and Winery participation. We will survey businesses and
attendees after the event and meet to discuss ideas and options for next year.
BRE Visits - Kim met with Blue Corn Harvest, they will open an additional location
in Round Rock later this year. Georgetown is their top performer and they would
like to open another restaurant in Georgetown next year.
