The Georgetown Main Street Advisory Board met on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 9:00 AM at City Hall, 808
Martin Luther King, Jr Street.

1.0 Project Team & Partner Updates
Discussion on Project Teams, Partner updates, and BRE Visits - Michele
Jaroszewski-Webb, Board Chair
. Swirl - New record $33,000, appreciation party next week.
• May is preservation month, preservation Georgetown will be doing several things
along with celebrating Williamson County 175th anniversary. GCCMA is putting a
plaque on the shotgun house. They may wait until their Juneteenth celebration.
They are going to have a concert here at City Hall in the plaza area on Friday, June
16th.
. Blazin Beer Crawl - start planning in May, the event is on Saturday, August 5th.
taking volunteers for the event committee - Markus, Michele and Jennifer. prefer
no Thursday meetings.
Partner updates - Markus recognized for being the ambassador of the month
from the Chambers. Small business week the first week of May.
BRE Visits - none this month
1. D Staff Report
Staff Report - Kim McAuliffe, Downtown and Tourism Director
• Facade Grant Fund Update - last payment was paid to Therapie Boutique sign. no
other request have been received. we have a balance of approximately
$100,000.00
• Business & Development updates - Gumbos has closed, toured Downtown with
consultants for the Downtown Master plan. Toured the historic Jail. Start phase one
in the parking area of the Bank of American parking lot.
• Upcoming event dates to remember - May meeting will be our Retreat to temple.
Arts Stroll next Thursday April 20th.
