HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes_GVPID_02.13.2023Minutes of the Village PID Advisory Board City of Georgetown, Texas Monday, February 13, 2023 The Georgetown Village PID Advisory Board met on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Public Safety Facility, 3500 DB Wood Rd. The following Members were in attendance: Present were: Marlene S McMichael, James F Levis, Melinda Marler, John D Mckinney, Kevin R Tanner, William L Whitehead, Michael D Charles Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance McMichael called meeting to order at 6:OOPM. 1. Regular Session 1.A Minutes from the November GVPID meeting Consideration and possible action to approve the Minutes for the Regular Board Meeting November 14, 2022 - Wendy Jimenez, Board Liaison The board approved minutes from the November 2022 meeting. Moved by Kevin R Tanner; seconded by William L Whitehead to. Motion: 5- 0 Voting For: Michael D Charles, Marlene S McMichael, James F Levis, Melinda Marler, John D Mckinney Voting Against: None 1.B GVPID Community Engagement Survey Results Discussion and feedback on public engagement survey results. --Nick Woolery, Assistant City Manager . Woolery presented the GVPID Community Engagement Survey Results to the board. Woolery mentioned that a total of 50 residents filled out the survey and that question number two responses indicate landscaping and seating as top choices. Nuner provided input and stated that survey results align with previous feedback and the current projects underway. McMichael mentioned the importance of park signage. Charles and Whitehead had clarifying questions related to irrigation. Nuner clarified that there are no plans for irrigation on city parks. Parks staff will coordinate a focused group survey and reach out to neighbors to receive feedback on Summers Green Park. Nuner also mentioned that Village and Bedford Park will receive improvements this fiscal year. Public Wishing to Address the Board On a subiect that is posted on this agenda: Please fill out a speaker registration form which can be found on the table at the entrance to the meeting room. Clearly print your name and the letter of the item on which you wish to speak and present it to the Board Liaison prior to the start of the meeting. You will be called forward to speak when the Board considers that item. Only persons who have delivered the speaker form prior to the meeting being called to order may speak. Speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to speak. If you wish to speak for six minutes, it is permissible to use another requestor's granted time to speak. No more than six minutes for a speaker may be granted. The requestor granting time to another speaker must also submit a form and be present at the meeting. On a subject not posted on the agenda: A request must be received by the Advisory Board or Commission Liaison prior to the day the agenda for this mee ng is posted. Each speaker will be given three minutes to address the Board or Commission members. No action can be taken. No members of the public signed up to address the board.
