A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS ("GEORGETOWN") RELEASING
APPROXIMATELY 15.970 ACRES OF LAND FROM THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN'S EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION ("ETJ"),
SAID LAND BEING GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF COUNTY
ROAD 105 AND EAST OF STATE HIGHWAY 130 WILLIAMSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, RESULTING IN A REDUCTION OF
GEORGETOWN'S ETJ; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 20, 2024, the City of Georgetown, Texas, received a petition requesting release
from its ETJ of an approximately 15.970-acre tract of land in the Woodruff Stubblefield Survey (the
"Petition"), a true and correct copy of such Petition being attached hereto as Exhibit A and
incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Subchapter D of Chapter 42 of Local Government Code, landowners or
residents may submit a petition seeking release of an area of land from the City's ETJ; and
WHEREAS, the City Secretary has reviewed the Petition and confirmed that it meets the
requirements of Subchapter D of Chapter 42 of the Local Government Code and the petition
requirements of Chapter 277 of the Election Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas ("City Council"), does hereby
find that the forgoing recitals are true and correct and adopts the recitals by this reference for all
purposes.
SECTION 2: To the extent required by state law, the City Council does hereby adjust the
boundaries and limits of the ETJ of the City of Georgetown, Texas, such that the ETJ of the City
of Georgetown, Texas, shall be and is hereby adjusted to release and remove the Area subject to
the Petition, as such Area is more particularly described and depicted in Exhibit B attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference, from the ETJ of the City of Georgetown, Texas.
SECTION 3. The City Council is not consenting to this reduction of its ETJ except as required
by state law.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.

PETITION FOR REMOVAL OF PROPERTY FROM CITY OF GEORGETOWN'S
EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION
The undersigned is the record owner ("the Owner") of 15.970 acres, more or less, as more particularly
described on attached Exhibit "A", herein incorporated by this reference, which Property is located within
the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction ("ETJ") of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and includes one tract that is
15.00 acres and a portion of a second tract that is 0.970 acres (collectively, the "Property").
The Property is in Williamson County and its WCAD Property ID #s are R 040588 (the 15-acre tract) and
R 305269 (a portion of the 1.200 parent tract, which portion is 0.970 acres). A depiction of the location of
the Property is attached hereto as Exhibit "B", incorporated herein by this reference.
The Owner owns all of the Property, as evidenced by the attached Exhibit "C", incorporated herein by
this reference. As such, and pursuant to Section 42.102(b) of the Texas Local Government Code, the
Owner is authorized to file this petition for a release of the Property from Georgetown's ETJ.
Pursuant to Section 42.104(a)(2) of the Texas Local Government Code, the Owner herebv files this
petition with the City of Georgetown for the immediate release of the Property from the City of
Georgetown's ETJ.
Because the Owner is an entity, see attached Exhibit "D" for a corporate resolution authorizing KEN
MELLINGER, the corporate Secretary and Treasurer for the Owner and a member of the Board of

These notes describe that certain tract of land situated in the WOODRUFF STUBBLEFIELD i
SURVEY, A-556 situated in Williamson County, Texas; subject tract being all of a called "16.36
Acres" as conveyed in a Special Warranty Deed from Justin Bohanan, as Devisee and as
Independent Executor of the Estates of Joy Bohanan and Joe Bohanan, deceased, and Joel Bohanan,
as Devisee and as Independent Executor of the Estates of Joy Bohanan and Joe Bohanan, deceased
to Justin Bohanan and Joel Bohanan dated 04-26-2022 as recorded in Document no. 2022053744
of the Official Public Records Williamson County, (OPRWC), being surveyed on the ground under
the direct supervision of Bruce Lane Bryan, Registered Professional Land Surveyor No. 4249,
during the month of May, 2024 and being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at calculated point in City Limit Line of the City of Georgetown (Northing =
10,206,360.62 feet, Easting = 3,149 feet); a found %2" iron rod (Northing = 10,208,336.37 feet,
Easting = 3,149, 836. 46, feet) being in the North right-of-way of State Highway 29, same being the
Southwest corner of said "16.36 Acres" and the Southeast corner of "Lot 1 — Eastview Estates" as

of 28.90 feet;

UNANIMOUS WRITTEN CONSENT OF DIRECTORS
May 20, 2024
The undersigned, being all of the members of the board of directors of Redemption Hill Church, a
Texas nonprofit corporation (the "Church"), hereby consent in writing, in lieu of a meeting, to the taking
of the following action and the adoption of the following resolution:
Petition for Release from ETJ
WHEREAS, the Church has purchased approximately 16.82 acres in Williamson County, Texas
(the "Property");
WHEREAS, 15.970 acres of the Property lies in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of
Georgetown, Texas (the "ETJ");
WHEREAS, the members of the board of directors deem it desirable and good for the Property to
be removed from the ETJ in order to facilitate the development, subdivision, and future sale of a portion of
the Property;
WHEREAS, the Church filed a petition for release from the ETJ on May 3, 2024 (the "Original
Petition"), with the City of Georgetown (the "City");
WHEREAS, the City rejected the Original Petition as insufficient on May 17, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the members of the board of directors desire for a revised petition for release from the
City's ETJ to be filed with the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following individual is hereby authorized to
execute and file, or cause to be filed, a revised petition for release from the ETJ, and to take other such
actions in furtherance of the release from the ETJ.
