Regular Session 1.A Call to order Call to order - Amanda Parr, Board President 4:OOpm 1.13 Approval of minutes Consideration and approval of the November 13, 2023 minutes - Amanda Parr, Board President Moved by Robert Hilton; seconded by Shawn Hood to Approve. Motion Approved: 3- 0 Voting For: Robert Hilton, Shawn Hood, Amanda Parr Voting Against: None 1.0 Financial report Consideration and presentation of the FY 2023 fourth quarter financial report - Nathan Parras, Assistant Finance Director Nathan Parras presented the FY2023 Q4 Financial Report and answered questions from the board. 1.D Staff Report Discussion regarding the staff report - David Morgan, City Manager Cameron Goodman presented the Staff Report and answered questions from the board. 5 1.E Economic Development Strategic Plan Presentation and discussion of the Economic Development Strategic Plan - Cameron Goodman, Director of Economic Development Cameron Goodman along with representatives from TIP Strategies presented on the Economic Development Strategic Plan and answered question from the board. 1.F Action from Executive Session Action from Executive Session - Amanda Parr, Board President Moved by Robert C Case; seconded by Robert Hilton to Approve to present Project Sharp to City Council.. Motion Approved: 4- 0 Voting For: Robert Hilton, Shawn Hood, Amanda Parr, Robert C Case Voting Against: None Executive Session In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Vernon's Codes, Annotated, the items listed below will be discussed in closed session and are subject to action in the regular session. Economic Development Negotiations Section 551.087. DELIBERATION REGARDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT NEGOTIATIONS. Deliberation regarding commercial or financial information that the corporation has received from a business prospect that the Georgetown Economic Development Corporation seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the City of Georgetown and with which the Corporation is conducting economic development negotiations; and/or deliberation regarding the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect that the Corporation seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the City of Georgetown. • Project Sharp Entered Executive Session at 5:18pm Returned to Regular Session at 5:31 pm Adjournment Moved by Robert C Case; seconded by Amanda Parr to Adjourn 5:33pm.
