The Georgetown Electric Utility Advisory Board met on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 5:30 PM at Georgetown
Municipal Complex, Williamson Room, 300 Industrial Ave.

1.E General Manager's Monthly Report
Discussion regarding the General Manager's Monthly Report -- Mike Westbrook; Electric
Operations Manager
Mike Westbrook opened with General Manager's Monthly report.
Leticia Zavala presented the Customer Service and Billing Electric Services report
included Customer statistics, Customer Count, Billed Meter Services, Average Billing for
the month of May, Billed Revenue by Quarter, Aged Receivable Report, and Collection
Agency Review. Board Member, Rick Woodruff questioned the discrepancy in the sum
of Collection Agency Review and requested clarification for the next meeting.
Mike Westbrook presented the Electric Operations Report and discussed the
performance metrics and the Top 5 outage events of the month of May.
Danny Potter presented the Electric Safety and Training Report and discussed the
quarterly safety agenda and the Northwest Lineman College updates. Safety metrics
were also discussed to report that the Electric Utility Department has one minor
incident and the difference between an "OSHA Recordable Incident" and a "OSHA Lost
Time Incident".
Leigh Wallace presented the Financial Quarterly Report and discussed the sales charge
comparisons, expense budget, purchased power, midyear updates, and midyear
budget amendments, and reported that the Electric Department is on track to meet
Reserve Requirements.
Mike presented the Tree Trimming Amendment for the board members to review
before being taken to the city council.
Mike presented the LCRA Material Acquisition for the board members to review before
being taken to the city council.
2. Executive Session
In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Vernon's Codes,
Annotated, the items listed below will be discussed in closed session and are subject to action in the regular
session.
