A Call to Order Arica Kolb called the meeting to order at 6:34 pm. B Roll Call Present: Slayden Beneat, Lydia Steinly, Lucas Friggle, David Zambrano, Jacob Bradley, Absent: Garrett Hevey, Joseph Dovey C Discussion on how this virtual conference will be conducted, to include options for public comments and how th e public may address the Commission – Arica Kolb, Recreation Supervisor Arica Kolb talked about how the virtual meeting will be conducted. D Global Youth Service Day Planning - Melisa Aranda, Grant Writing Consultant on behalf of The Georgetown Project Melisa talked about Global Youth service day. Global Youth Service day will take place April 23-25. It is a day for youth to share their voices and inspire youth to serve. Youth are encouraged to use their SPARK to serve. Moving forward the Youth Advisory Board members would like to be involved in planning and giving input. Our board consists of members that are very involved in various organization and they can help get the word out to more organizations to host a service project during that time. E Electronic Vaping and bringing awareness to the ordinance - Lucas Friggle, Youth Advisory Board Member Lucas Friggle talked about how he has noticed an increase to vaping on the square. The board would like to bring more awareness to the vaping ordinance on the square. Possibly through social media. F Upcoming events for 2021 - Arica Kolb, Recreation Supervisor We discussed hosting a teen night and more volunteer opportunities for teens. Legislative Regular Agenda E Consideration and possible action to approve minutes from the November 3, 2020 Youth Advisory Board meeting Lydia made a motion to approve the minutes, it was seconded by Lucas Friggle.
