F GTEC Monthly Report
GTEC MONTHLY REPORT AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2020
Please note the December period is still open. These figures are preliminary and unaudited.
Operating revenue is comprised of sales tax and allocated
interest. Sales tax revenue is budgeted at $7.94 million and
is two months in arrears. Sales tax collections through
November totals $811,070. Allocated interest totals
$10,194 through December 31, 2020.
Operating expense includes administrative support charges
and office supplies. The administrative charges are typically
processed monthly. However, at the time of this report,
these charges are only partially booked.. Operational
expenses total $240,817 through the third month.
Non-operating revenue is budgeted at $10.6 million and is
comprised of bond proceeds. The City sells debt in the
spring and will recognize the proceeds once the transaction
is complete.
Non-operating expense is budgeted at $16.4 million for the Big C Project, Confido III, and Aviation Drive. The total
budget also includes the debt service payment for previously issued debt. The City pays debt service twice a year in
the fall and later in the spring.
FY2021 CIP Rollforward Amendment
City Staff took the CIP Roll Forward Amendment to City Council on January 12, 2021. The Roll Forward Amendment
will result in a 4% increase in Sales Tax revenue, which equates to $317,500 in revenue for the GTEC Fund. The CIP
Roll Forward Amendment also includes $12,476,813 of CIP projects previously budgeted in FY2020. By rolling the
prior year budget into FY2021, teams can continue to work on projects that cross multiple fiscal years. Rabbit Hill
Road, State Highway 29 Improvements, Southeast Inner Loop are included in the CIP Roll Forward Amendment. This
Amendment is set to go to Council for the second reading and final approval on January 26, 2021.
