Call to order – Susie Flatau, Board Chair Susie Flatau Called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. B. Citizens wishing to address the board – Susie Flatau, Board Chair None present. C. Announcements regarding Arts & Culture– Susie Flatau, Board Chair Karen – The Palace will have a performance of the Wizard of Oz on July 28th Susie – taking a break from full circle for the summer, will start back up in September. Sonya – Season tickets open for the next academic school year. David – participated in the Sons of American Legion event. D. Consideration and possible action to approve minutes from the June 21, 2022 Arts and Culture Board meeting – Susie Kelly Flatau, Board Chair. Motion by David Valdez to approve the minutes as presented, second by Norma Clark Approved 6-0 . E. Discussion and possible action to award Arts and Culture Grant funding to local arts and culture organizations – Amanda Still, Arts and Culture Coordinator Page 3 of 16 Minutes Arts & Culture Advisory Board City of Georgetown, Texas Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 4:30 PM Discussion: Board and staff reviewed submissions, requirements and scores Motion by Rachel Hancock to approve the awarded grants per discussion and recommended changes, second by Sonya Robinson Approved 6-0 . Presentation of Arts & Culture Coordinator report – Amanda Still, Arts & Culture Coordinator • Cultural District Programming o Georgetown Spring Art Stroll, call for booths open, reception, yarn bombing project o Art stroll venues o Arts Festival o Arts District, construction in progress, • Future Meeting Timeline o August Select sculptures for Sculpture Tour o September Library Teen Advisory Board mural design o October meeting cancelled due to Art Stroll Festival.
