(“Lessee”). WHEREAS, on August 1, 2016, the City and Lessee entered into an Facility Lease Agreement (“Agreement”); and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend this Agreement to extend the initial term of the Agreement. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration for the mutual benefits to be derived by the Parties from this First Amendment and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which Lessee and the City acknowledge Lessee and the City agree as follows: 1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement is hereby amended to provide as follows: The initial term of this Agreement shall commence at 12:01 a.m. on August 1, 2016, and expire at 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2019 (the “Initial Term”), unless sooner terminated in accordance with this Agreement. Upon the expiration of the Initial Term of this Agreement, this Agreement may be extended on a month-to-month basis for up to six months on the same terms and conditions, upon agreement of the Parties. 2.
