Discussion and possible action regarding a modification to the equipment list within the agreement
between GEDCO and Georgetown Independent School District—Mark Thomas, Economic Development

ITEM SUMMARY:
At its September 17, 2012 meeting GEDCO approved a Performance Agreement between GEDCO and
GISD for a grant to purchase equipment for the Engineering Laboratories at Georgetown and Eastview
High Schools in an amount not to exceed $200,560. The Agreement included an itemization of the
equipment and tools GISD expected to purchase. Since that time, GISD has found it necessary to make
changes to the amounts and types of equipment planned for the engineering program. The proposed
changes in equipment will not change the final purchase or grant amount. Staff respectfully asks that
GEDCO approve the changes as shown on the attached amended equipment list.
