slightly down for the month of May. The number of titles added to the collection was
1,355; a slight improvement over the last few months.
Lashley announced that Tom Milburn would be appointed to the Library Advisory
Board at the June 23, 2015 Council Meeting.
May’s live music performer was Peter Fletcher, a classical guitarist. The staff put
out over 80 chairs in the lobby to accommodate the crowd, which was much larger
than usual.
On May 22nd, the library had a viewing of the movie To Kill a Mockingbird. We had
26 in attendance and the patrons asked for more movie events.
The new library website design should go live the week after the July 4th holiday.

1:00 PM in honor of sculptor Terry Tunes. Terry is the artist who created the 3
recycled toy sculptures currently on display at the library. The annual Texas Society

Lashley – Lashley handed out the schedule of summer reading program events to
the board members. Lashley noted that attendance has rapidly increased and we

order to divide the crowd and provide a more comfortable experience for our
patrons.
