(possible topics) · Reach out to new downtown business owners to attend. b) Welcome potential/new businesses to make aware of process and opportunities · Distribute brochure via Downtown Lowdown meetings, Breakfast Bites and visits. · Review brochure on a quarterly basis and update as needed. – Bob/Jeff c) Support and promote downtown businesses via Shop Small Spree, Extended hours campaign, monthly lunches & block captain visits · Select day/location for monthly luncheon with Main Street Board/Committees · Review block assignments with committee · Extended hour survey results d) Contact and complete downtown business & property owners info for database · Report progress on completion of forms – Vicki · Goal 2: Raise awareness and funding for Georgetown Main Street Program a) Promote Façade & Sign Grant Program to business and property owners · Compile list of completed façade and sign grant recipients and schedule upcoming dates for check presentations: Artisan’s Connect Gallery, The Exchange (Low Down Meetings)- Jeff · Schedule for City Lowdown meeting (4/13) confirm photographer and make sure photos are posted on city website and FB pages. - Jeff · Educate new and existing businesses about grants for façade & signage - all · Goal 3: Promoting downtown’s image as a signature destination a) Promote and support downtown as a Cultural District by using the arts as economic development – Bill/Bob · Partner with CVB, HARC and Arts & Culture Boards and reschedule visit to Ft.
