(all) · Goal 2: Raising Awareness and Funding for Main Street Program Projects a) Promote Façade & Sign Grant Program to business and property owners - All · Keep ongoing list of completed façade and sign grant recipients and schedule upcoming dates for check presentations: Diva/Gatzby (assign) · Schedule date a week in advance and confirm photographer and make sure photos are posted on city website and FB pages. (assign) · Invite all board and committee members to attend · Goal 3: Promoting Downtown’s Image as a Signature Destination a) Promote and support downtown as a Cultural District by using the arts as E.D. – Bill · Partner with CVB, HARC and Arts & Culture Boards to visit successful downtowns to gain new ideas: (Denton visit report review) · Meet and plan with SU (Elena Garcia) and GISD Fine Arts programs to promote student involvement and performance in downtown. (SU) Fine Arts students –(Jim, Marcy) J.D.
