Goal 1: Attracting & Retaining a Healthy Business Mix
a) Maintain and expand the website, https://mainstreet.georgetown.org/ - David/Shelly

· List downtown businesses by type/category – Rusty/Shelly
· List desired new businesses by survey results – David/Shelly
Goal 2: Raising Awareness and Funding for Main Street Program Projects
a) Explore alternative fundraising options for downtown lighting/8th St. Courtyard project –
David/Amanda
· Review new options like Main Table, Courthouse Lawn Picnic and Week of Giving
b) Raise awareness of historic preservation through May as National Preservation Month - Amanda
· Research preservation month activities in other downtowns
· Partner with other local preservation-related organizations and select event/s for 2015
c) Continue volunteer recruitment for board and committees
· Identify active leaders and business owners – Rusty/Lauryl
· Identify downtown champions- David/Lauryl
d) Consolidate sign up process for volunteers and sponsorships – Diane/Karen
Goal 3: Promoting Downtown's Image as a Signature Destination
a) Continue involvement with other downtown and city-wide organizations each month –
· Recruit volunteers from: Chamber (Lauryl), Arts & Culture Board/GAW (Diane), DGA (Karen), SU
College Town Committee (David), GHS (Amanda), Palace Theatre?, The Williamson Museum?
· Explore opportunities to have more city-wide activities downtown - Karen
· Communicate with board/organization liaisons to share downtown events/projects - David
