Discussion and possible action on a Main Street Sign Grant Fund application request for the property located
at 212 W. 7th Street. The planned signage improvements include a new sign that will hang over the sidewalk.
Applicant has selected Larry Perez Signs to perform the required work, including creation of the sign and
installation. The estimate provided by applicant totals $2,754.96 and applicant seeks a sign grant for the
maximum award of $500.

Discussion and possible action on a Main Street Facade Grant Fund application request for the property
located at 212 W. 7th Street. The planned facade improvements include new stucco façade around the side and
rear of the building, new fencing to continue the pedestrian experience from the street frontage.
Applicant has selected Sammy Evans to perform the required work, including construction of an 8 ft. wood
and iron fence, stucco existing walls as well as other exterior patio improvements that include a wooden deck,
concrete and excavation, landscaping, electrical, and a walk in cooler. The estimate provided by applicant
totals $12,124 and applicant seeks a facade grant for the maximum award or 50% - $6,062.

Staff has met with applicant and reviewed the application in its entirety. Staff finds that the request is complete
and eligible for funding consideration by the Main Street Advisory Board. Consideration will only be given to
eligible expenditures related to façade work. Staff has communicated this information back to the applicant
due to the fact that the total project was originally submitted but not eligible in its entirety.
