· Goal 1: Attracting & Retaining a Healthy Business Mix
a) Acknowledge contributions made by downtown businesses promoting Georgetown
· Present Main Street Star Awards, as needed, at quarterly Breakfast Bites or Downtown Low
Down meetings – Trisha
· Goal 2: Raising Awareness and Funding for Main Street Program Projects
o Discuss importance of how projects are presented to the public - Cindy
a) Increase awareness of Small Business Saturday and funding for Main Street projects through
annual Ladies Nite Out “Paint the Town Red” to raise $5,000 – Kay/Becca
· Review top quotes for graphic designer for LNO – Cindy/Vicki
· Review top quotes on Swag Bags and present to committee – Shelly/Becca
· Set deadlines and update progress - Kay/Becca
· Theme “Paint the Town Red”, graphics and décor to include “Save the Date” cards, ads, posters,
Facebook headers, coupon book, signage and map – Shelly/Kay/Becca
· Determine sponsorship levels and recruit sponsors – Vicki/Becca
· Select volunteer coordinator (need about 12 volunteers) – need volunteer lead
· Recruit downtown host businesses and other Georgetown retail partners (shopping, services and
attractions) – Kay/Becca/Vicki/Cindy
· Organize and plan Man Cave – Blake/Nelson
