SUBJECT:
Overview of the proposed revised development plan and related documents for the Cimarron Hills
Development -- Micki Rundell, Chief Financial Officer
ITEM SUMMARY:
This item will be an overview of the development and the proposed changes along with an explanation of the
various documents that will be required to implement the changes.
The changes to this development have taken over 12 months to finalize. It involves capping the expenses
and reassigning costs related to the Cimarron Hills Pubic Improvement District (PID). As part of this
process the final assessment amounts have been determined an will be levied next month. In addition, there
are changes to the development agreement that are also being memorialized, and a Municipal Utility District
is being proposed to reimburse costs associated with completing the revised development plan.
This workshop will provide an overview of these documents. Chis Hill with Cimarron Hills will also present
the proposed changes to the overall development plan.
The resolution included on tonight's regular Council agenda is the 1st step in this process. The resolution
accepts the changes to the Service and Assessment Plan (SAP) and sets a public hearing prior to reading the
ordinance that levy the assessment changes. It also approves the required notice of the public hearing.
Copies of all related documents are attached to the Resolution Agenda Item.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no financial impact to the City related to Cimarron Hills.
This workshop was presented to the General Government and Finance Subcommittee at the August 29
meeting and was recommended to be presented to City Council.
A powerpoint presentation will also be provided at the dais.

Update on Fire Station response and apparatus coverage related to Fire Station 5 -- Robert Fite, Fire Chief
and Paul E. Brandenburg, City Manager
ITEM SUMMARY:
This workshop item is to inform the City Council on the fire department operation plan as related to Fire
Station 5’s pending opening. The deployment plan has been a three year change for our city and we are about
to implement this plan. The Fire Chief will demonstrate the changes in response, changes in apparatus, and
lay out the future growth for the next ten years and beyond.
