HomeMy WebLinkAboutMotorcycle Safety Month_05.2015 PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, the Lone Star State is home to one of the nation’s largest motorcycle-riding populations. Our beautiful roadways and mild winters make for a year-round riding season, contributing to the popularity of motorcycling as both transportation and recreation for many Texans; and WHEREAS, riding a motorcycle safely requires specific skills and riding without proper knowledge can be a recipe for disaster. The Texas Department of Public Safety provides tools to make Texans’ motorcycling experiences safer. The steps we take today can make a positive difference for the future.
