HomeMy WebLinkAboutCarol Light Day_11.2016 PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, Carol Light is highly educated attending Tarleton College, the University of Texas, Austin and Louisiana Tech University; and WHEREAS, Ms. Light began her career as a third generation floral designer for the family business, Belding Flowers, with clients such a Lyndon Baines Johnson and John Connally; and WHEREAS, Ms. Light has been an Art Instructor at Central Texas Watercolor Society, Irving Art Association, Kerrville Art Association, Llano Art Group, Marble Fall Art Club, New Braunfels Art League, Port Lavaca Art Society, Salado Village Artists, Sun City Visual Arts Club, Victoria Art League, the Williamson County Art Guild and the Wimberley Art Group WHEREAS, Carol Light has been the President of the Williamson County Art Guild, has been a chosen judge in many art programs and contests and has been selected to exhibit her art in galleries and shows too many to list. WHEREAS, Georgetown is proud and honored to acclaim our local artist, Carol Belding Light.
