PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Ben Kern, PGA, was the winner of the 2018 Texas State Open Championship
WHEREAS, Kern also was victorious at the 2018 Effex Management Solutions Texas Team
Championship
WHEREAS, Ben Kern was the Low PGA Club Professional at the 2018 PGA Championship and was
the only PGA Club Professional to make the cut and play the 2018 PGA Championship weekend ; and
WHEREAS, Ben Kern is nationally recognized and is an exemplary representative of the Georgetown
Country Club and the Georgetown community; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DALE ROSS, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS, do hereby proclaim September 25, 2018 as
BEN KERN DAY
