PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the Georgetown High School Baseball Team, under the leadership of Head Coach
Adam Foster and staff, is to be recognized and honored for their outstanding 2019 baseball season,
and;
WHEREAS, the team has a motto, “Eagle Fight Never Dies”, and the student athletes are provided
an opportunity to understand and exhibit teamwork, dedication, and commitment, as well as, the
lifelong value of a hard work ethic, and;
WHEREAS, the dedication, hard work, long hours of practice, mutual support and commitment of
the team, their families and coaches exemplify the pride and heart of the Georgetown High School
Baseball Program; and
WHEREAS, the players, coaches, parents and supporters have all come together in making a truly
championship team, resulting in the team achieving 2019 5A State Semifinal Champions, and;
WHEREAS, the Georgetown City Council would like to congratulate the coaches and players of the
Georgetown High School Baseball Team for securing Georgetown’s place in a State Title Class 5A
finals game, held Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Dell Diamond.

call on all citizens of the community to join with family and friends in honoring the
