PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the Georgetown Youth Girls Softball Association All-Star Teams, are to be
recognized and honored for their outstanding 2021 softball season; and
WHEREAS, we are proud of all five All-Star Teams for not only their success at the PONY
Regionals Tournament, but the sportsmanship, attitude, and fun the teams, coaches and
parents have displayed all year; and
WHEREAS, their families and coaches exemplify pride and spirit of Georgetown and they
are representing us with great class and style; and
WHEREAS, the players of the 6U Shetland Team, the 8U Pinto Team and the 12U Bronco
Team were undefeated at the Regional Tournaments, and brought home the Pony Regional
Champion Banners; and
WHEREAS, the 6U, 8U, 12U and 14U Teams are heading to the Pony World Series in
Youngsville, Louisiana in July and we wish them the best of luck.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSH SCHROEDER, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN
call on the community to join with family and friends in
celebrating the All-Star Central Texas Pony Softball Teams
which are headed to the 2021 World Series Game
