PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown is greatly enhanced by outstanding
citizens willing to provide their time, leadership and kindness to our City; and
WHEREAS, Harper Pitts is a sophomore at Georgetown High School who
lives in Berry Creek; and
WHEREAS, Harper Pitts spent Saturday, February 20th and Sunday,
February 21st helping her neighbors clean up the debris caused by severe winter
storm Uri that occurred from February 13-17, 2021; and
WHEREAS, Harper Pitts assisted those wherever she could and donated
her time and efforts during an emergency like Georgetown had never seen
before; now let it be resolved that,
I, JOSH SCHROEDER, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
and all who know Harper Pitts, wish to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude
for her dedication to public service for the City and the residents of Georgetown
during a time of need.

Thank you so much for all of your help cleaning up tree limbs in your
neighborhood after the winter storm! We know your family, friends and
neighbors really appreciated it, and the City of Georgetown is really proud of
you for stepping up to support your community!
