PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown is greatly enhanced by outstanding citizens willing
to provide their time, leadership and professional expertise to our City; and
WHEREAS, Thomas Dean (Tom) Crawford moved to Sun City, Georgetown in 1998
and became deeply involved in all aspects of community service; and
WHEREAS, Tom Crawford gave freely of his time, professional education and
mentoring skills in serving on numerous City of Georgetown boards and commissions,
including but not limited to: Economic Development Advisory Board (2009-2011), Housing
Advisory Board (2009-2011), Zoning Board of Adjustment (2010-2013), Georgetown Trans-
portation Enhancement Corporation (2015-2017), and numerous other boards and mobility
planning groups; and Tom generously shared his wisdom and spiritual guidance with many
friends and acquaintances in need, and
WHEREAS, Tom Crawford passed away on December 12, 2020, now let it be resolved
that,
I, JOSH SCHROEDER, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
and all who knew Tom Crawford wish to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude for all the
many services provided to our City and the residents of Georgetown.
