HomeMy WebLinkAboutBrian Frost- Eagle Scout_9.11.2007 P R O C L A M A T I O N WHEREAS, Brian Matthew Frost, of Boy Scout Troop 405, recently completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review; and WHEREAS, Brian, age 18, is a May graduate of Georgetown High School and plans to enlist in the United States Marine Corps in September; and WHEREAS, during his tenure as a Scout, he earned 21 merit badges, recorded 71 days and nights of camping, provided 155 service hours, hiked 20 minutes and added 71% (218 of 306) troop meetings; and WHEREAS, Brian’s Eagle Service Project was to collect and retire a large number of worn American and Texas flags, and the impressive retirement ceremony took place on September 11, 2007 and was covered by two Austin television stations. NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE GARVER, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, do hereby commend and congratulate Brian Matthew Frost for completing his Eagle Scout Board of Review and wish him luck during his service in the United States Marine Corps and into the future.
