A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGET+OWN
TEXAS AMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT MANUAL FEE SCHEDULE FOR
THE ADOPTION OF APPLICATION REVIEW FEES FOR WATER AND
WASTEWATER UTILITY EVALUATION APPLICATIONS; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS BELATED TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Section 3.02.020.13 of the Unified Development Code ("UDC"), requires that
all application fees be established and revised from time to time by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City does not currently collect adequate utility evaluation fees to offset
direct City expenses and third -party utility engineering expenses; and
WHEREAS, in a'City Council Workshop on November 26, 2024, City Council provided
direction recommending certain fee increases to align application fees with staff timeexpense
and
WHEREAS, City staff conducted a cost -of -service study with findings recommending an
increase to both water and wastewater utility evaluation fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 'RESOLVED BY THE 'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby
found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporatedby reference herein and expressly
made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim.
SECTION 2: The Utility Evaluation Application Fees attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and
incorporated herein are hereby established in accordance with UDC Section 3.02.020.13, effective
immediately upon adoption.

SECTION 3:If any provision of this Resolution or application thereof to any person or
circumstance, shall be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions, or
application thereof, of this Resolution which can be given effect without the invalid provision or
application, and to this end the provisions of this Resolution are hereby declared to be severable.
SECTION 4: The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and; the City Secretary` to attest this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.

encourages you to verify the total fees for your project prior to submitting an application by emailing
planning@georgetown.org. All fractions of an acre will be rounded up to the next acre. A per lot calculation includes the
