'The City Council met in Special Session on the
above date at 8:00 p.m" w|th Mayor Car Doering
presiding. The following Council Members and
Officials */ere present: Etz C. Girv(n, Bill
Connor, William C. Shell, Joan King, Jinn Colbert,
City Manager Leo Wood, City Secretary Pat
Caballero, Public Works Director W. L. Walden,
Planning Director Renee Hanson and Tax/Finance
Director Barbara Raney.
. ' 1. APPROVE BILLS OVER $25000.00
Motion by King and second by G|rvio to approve
the bills submitted by City Manager Leo Wood.
Motion carried by unanimous vote.

2. CONSIDER BRAZOG RIVER AUTHORITY
� Motion by King and second by G> rvi n to commit to
1 MGD of current water and 3.86 MGD of future
water supplied by the Brazos River Authority.
Voting went as fol l cws: Yes: King, Shell and
8iry i n . No: Colbert and Connor. Motion Carried.
3. RESOLUTION - TDWR/EDWARD8 AQUIFER
Mot/on by King and second by Shell to approve a
resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of
Georgetown or his designate to appear at a
meeting of the Texas Department of Water
Resources on January 7, 1985 for discussion of
the proposed rules for the Edwards Aquifer and
express the concerns of the City Staff of
Georgetown at such meeting. Motion carried by
unanimous vote. (Ordinance Book #5, page )
4. APPROVE CONTRACT WITH FREESE NICHOLS
Motion by Connor and second by Shell to approve a
contract with Freese & Nichols for the
engineering associated w|th the San Jose Project
' with an approximate cost of $65n830.00. Motion
- carried by unanimous vote.
5. RESOLUTION - SAN JOSE COMMITMENT
Motion by Connor and second by Girvin to approve
a resolution specifying local funding commitment
of t*/c` hundred +1fty thousand three hundred f|fty
dollars for completion of the San Jose project.
