P.M.The City Council met in special session on the above date at 5:00 Mayor ! Doerflerpresiding. following Councilmen and officials were present: Eb C. Girvin, Carl Doering, William C- Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, Assistant City Manager W. L.Walden ! City Secretary Jim Colbert4 Councilmen Atkinson Ordinance - Motion by Shell and seconded by Doering to approve on first Abandon Easement reading an ordinance abandoning a road easement on lot 18 Lot 18, Blk 3, Block 3, Seranada East II. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Seranada East II lst reading Resolution- Motion by Shell and seconded by Girvin to approve a Lease at resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease Airport agreement between the City and Roger Campbell for land at the Airport. Motion carried by unanimous vote. ( See Ord. Book #4, Pages 248 and 249). Resolution - Motion by Girvin and seconded by Doering to approve a resolution Army Contract authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract between the City at Airport and the'U. S. Army to conduct training exercises from the ( See Georgetown Airport. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Ord Book #4, Page 250). Ordinance - Motion by Girvin and seconded by Shell to approve on first Lone Star Gas reading an ordinance providing a rate increse for Lone Star Rate Increase Gas which will generate $80,567.00 per year in addition revenues. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Executive At this time, Mayor Doerfler announced that the City Council. Session would meet in executive session under Artice 6252-17, Section 2 (b) (3), V.T.C.-S. After the executive session, the meeting was again opened to the public. Adjourn There being no further business, on a motion by Shell and seconded by Girvin, the meeting adjourned.
