AND REDI]EMABLE AFTER TEN YEARS AFTER DATE AND BEARING INTEREST AT THE

COLLECTION OF TAXES SUFFICIENT' TO PAY TEE INTEREST AID SIIXIEG FUND ON
SAID BONDS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
that an election be and is hereby ordered held in and for the said City
by the qualified tax paying voters of the said City on the 25th day of
Yarch, A. D. 1922, after the giving of due and proper notices, in the
manner and form prescribed by law, to determine whether or not there
shall be issued by the said City, bonds in the sum of Eighty -Five Thou-
sand(�85,000.00)DOL•I�'�RS, for the purpose of building, paving and improv
ing the streets of the said City; the ,;aid bonds to be due forty years
from the crate of the issuance thereof, and to be redeemable on and after
ten years from the date of the issuance thei,eof, and to bear interest
from the issuance thereof, at the rate of five per cent per annum, paya-
ble semi-annually as it accrues, as represented by coupons, the said
coupons to bear interest after the maturity thereof, at the same rate
of interest, and to authorize the levy and collection of the necessary
taxes to pay interest and sinking fund on said bonds. The said bond;
to be knovrn as the "City of Georgetown Street Brands."
That all persons voting at the said election for the issue of st
bonds shall have viritten or printed on their ballots, "FOR TIE' ISSU
OF BRIMS." and that all persons voting at the said election against
the issue 1f the said bonds shall have v;l-itten or printed on their
ballots, "AGAINST TY; ISSUE OF BOh''DS .
That Vv. I. Stump and Vr. G. McDonald are -hereby named, constitut
ed and appointed Judges to hold the said election, and are directed
to appoint and name all the necessary Clerks and assistants.
That the said election shall be held at the City Hall Building,
and shall be held in the manner and form prescribed by law, for the
holding of such elections.
