The City Council met in special session on the above date at 9:00 AM
with Mayor John C. Doerfler presiding. The following Councilmen
and Officials were present: Eb. C. Girvin, Carl Doering, Marvin
Lackey, Bill Connor, William C. Shell, City Manager Leo Wood, City
Secretary Pat Caballero, Public Works Director W. LWalden, Tax/
Finance Diector Barbara Raney and City Planner Renee Hanson.
Oath of Office - Mayor Doerfler administered the City Secretary Oath of Office
City Secretary to Pat Caballero.
Resolution - Councilman Girvin made and Councilman Connor seconded a motion
Approval of 1983 to approve a resolution approving the 1983 tax role as submitted
Tax Role by the City Tax Assessor/Collector. Motion carried by unanimous

FIRE DEPARTMENT - The Fire Department had 33 alarms during December, 1983. Sixteen
were inside the city and 17 outside. The in -city calls involved
one structure as follows: December 15, 1983 at 410 East 7th Street,
a small fire started in the heating unit. There was no structural
damage
Total alarms for 1983: 270.
