He did not recommend reestablishment of this committee at this time, , . (B) PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE: Connor noted ' that this matter was listed as an ageoda item below, and discussion would take pl-ace at that' time. ' (C) POSTING OF NOTICE: Connor affirmed that a}l committees were subject to the open meetingslaw and should observe the 72 hour notice per/o.d. REPORT - CAPITAL METRO SERVICE PLAN Steffney Griff{n of the Capit,al Metro reported to the council that the City of Austin intended to ( ` hold an election January 19, 1985 that could ` raise sales taxes to fund the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Regional Service Plan. It was indicated to the council that the City of Austin would fund an election in the City of Georgetown if the Austin City Council received ' a resolution from the Georgetown Cit}~ Council expressing interest in participation in the Capital Metro Service Plan.
