HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 08.01.1932 - Levy of Taxes for 1932ORDER LEVYIiyG TAXES Be it ordered by the board of Trustees of the Georgetown Independent School District that there is hereby levied for the year 1932 on all real and personal taxable property situated t3hthin the limits of Georgetown Independent School District, Williamson ` County, Texas, on the ist day of January of the current ,year, the following taxes: First: An ad valorem tax of &n and at the rate of sity-eight (68�) cents on the one hundred ( 100) dollars cash value thereof, estimated in lawful coney of the United States of America, for the support and maintenance of the public free schools in said Georgetown Independent School District. Second: An ad valorem tax of and at the rate of fifteen, Bents on the $100 cast, value thereof, estimated in lawful money of the United States of America, to pay current interest on and provide sufficient sinking fund for the bonds of said district dated August 10, 1922, Series "A" due serially. Third: An ad valorem tax of and at the rate of five cents on the '100 cash value thereof, estimated in lawful money of the United States of America, to pay current interest on and provide sufficient sinking fund for the bonds of said district dated August 10, 1922, Series "B" due 1962, Optional 1932. Fourth: An ad valorem tax of and at the rate of ten cents on the 4'100 cash value thereof, estimated in lawful money of the United States of km.vrica., to pay current interest on and provide a sin -king fund sufficient for the bonds of said district dated August 1st, 1932. l r cs den .:oa o rustees. SCHOOL) DISTRICT ) I, the undersigned authority, President of the Board of Trustees of the Georgetown Independent School District do hereby certify that the Board of Trustees has heretofore passed an order authorizing the issus.nee of the sum of 12800000 5,% Refunding bonds of daid district, dated August 1, 1932, in denominations of $500.00 each, to mature serially: $1500 due August 1, 1933 and 1934, and $2,500 on August 1, 1936 to 1940 inclusive, said refunding bonds having been issued for the purpose of Cancelling, "d in lieu of a like amount of Georgetown Independent School District Bonds, dated August 10, 1922, said bonds being cancelled and refunded being Nos. 50 to 77 inclusive, these being the bonds the district board of trustees in authorizing the new refunding bonds, seek to cancel by said order of refunding.
