HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 12.10.1923 - Prohibiting TentsAn Ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas, repealing an ardi- nance passed and approved on the 8ti1 day of January, 1923, entitled "An Or- dinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas, prohibiting the erection of any tent for any character of show, or the exhibiting any character of shoe in a tent or tents, within four hundred yards of the fire limits of the said City, or within four hundred yards of any oil or gasoline tank or reservoir, There oil or gasoline is stored, and providing a penalty for the violation of this ordinance and creating an emergency." Also repealing an ordinance passed and approved on the llth day of June, 1923, entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas, jo erect any tent or tents for any -character of shotu, to be held or exhibited therein, or to exhibit any shove in any tent or tents, ti,vithin the fire limits of the said City, or within three hundred feet thereof, or vithin three hun- dred feet of any public or private house, or within three hundred feet of any public street of the said City, and fixing a penalty for the violation of said ordinance, and creating an emergency." Be it ordained by the city Council of the said City that the said ordinance passed and appproved on the 8th day of January, 1923, set out and mentioned in the caption hereof, and the said ordinance passed and approved on the llth day of June, 1923, L.nd mentioned and set out in the caption here- of, be and each of them are hereby repealed.
