ING THE HEREINAF'TElt DESCRIBED TmuaTORY TO THE CITY OF GEORGBTOIVN, AVILLIAhfSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAII) CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE . SAID IIEIII]INAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITIfIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL IMIABITANTS, PRESENT AND FUTURE, OF' SAID PROPERTY ALI, THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF ALL OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY AND CONTAINING IMERGLINCY CLAUSE: 1V1IEMEAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknow- ledged by each and every person having an interest in the hereinafter describ- ed property and territory; and, WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Georgetown, Texas, and is not more than one-half mile in width; and, 11'HEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the day of October, 1965, such date being not less than five nor more than thirty days from the date hereof; and, WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and arguments for and against same the City Council has voted to grant such petition and to annex said territory to the City of Georgetown, 'Texas: NOIV, THEREFORE, I3E IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the following described property, to -wit: Parcel No. 1: BEGINNING at a point in the east right of way of Interstate Highway 35, opposite Survey Station 759+00; and, TIIFVCE N 26*44.6' E, along said east right of way line, a distance of 1650 feet; and, THENCE S 88*11' E, a distance of 127 feet to a point in the east right of way of the county road; and, TIIENCE N 1*49' E, a distance of 9 feet to the P.T. of a curve; and, THENCE northeasterly along the east right of way of Interstate High- way 35, being on a curve having a radius of 925.4 feet, a distance of 460 feet to the P. Parcel No. 2: BEGINNING at a point in the east right of way of Interstate Highway 35, opposite Survey Station 851+00; and, THENCE in a southwesterly direction along the east right of way of Interstate highway 35, which is on a curve having a radius of 5429.6 feet for a distance of 1291 feet to a point which is the I'. Parcel No. 3: BEGINNING at a point in the east right of way of Interstate highway 35, opposite Survey Station 953+00; and, T111,24CE S 15* 04.6' E, along said east right of way for a distance of 1853.2 feet; and, THL'NCE N 33* 39.5' E, a distance of 572 feet; and, THLNCE S 58* 13' E, a distance of 140 feet to a point in the east right of way of existing U. S. Highway 81 and Interstate lIighway 35: and, TIh�,iNCE S 18* 27.3' 111, along said east right of way for a distance of 1310 feet; and, THENCE N 87* 48'IV, on a line that passes through Interstate Highway 35, Survey Station 989+00, for a distance of 710 feet, to a point in the west right of way of Interstate lIighway 35; and, TH NCE N 06* 29.3' E, along said west right of way line for a distance of 859.1 feet; and, TIIL�CE in a northwesterly direction along said west right of way, being on a curve having a radius of 5479.6 feet for a distance of 190.2 feet to a point which is the P.C. of said curve; and, THENCE N 15* 04.6' AV, along said west right of way line, a distance of 873.7 feet; and, THENCE n 74* 55.4' W, along a line, that passes through Interstate highway 35, Survey Station 953+oo, for a distance of 500 feet to a point in the east right of way of Interstate Highway 35, which is the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Georgetown, 'Xilliamson County, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas be and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory within the City Limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said city, and said land and the present and future inhabitants thereof, shall hereafter be entitled to all the rights and pribileges of other citizens of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said City. 47© A� The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance. The importance of this ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity tlat the rule requiring ordinances to be read at three separate meeting be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended, and the ordinance sW1 take effect and be in force from and after its adoption.
