AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOIN, TEXAS
PROHIBITING AND LIMITING THE, TUEJ\1ING AROUND OF
VEIIICLES IVITHIN SAID CITY:
No driver of any motor vehicle shall turn such vehicle so as to
proceed in the opposite direction between intersections nor turn such
vehicle at any intersection where traffic signals are in place unless
such movement can be made in safety and without interfering with other
traffic.
No driver of any motor vehicle shall make a "U" turn at'any of
z the four intersections of the public square in said City.
Any violation of this ordinance shall be punishable by*fine of
not less than $1.00 nor more than $200.00.
The provisions of this Ordinance are severable so that any portion
hereof, which might be deemed to be void as a matter of law, shall
not affect the validity of any other portion hereof.
Duly APPROVED AND ENACTED this the 11 day of September, A.D.,
1967, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Georgetown
Texas.

IVHEIIEAS, at an election held for that purpose on February 26,
1966, the City Council of the City of Georgetown was authorized by a majority
of the qualified voters who were property taxpayers of said City, voting
at said election to issue $400,000 revenue bonds of said City as follows:
$50,000 of bonds for the pupose of constructing extensions and improve-
ments of the City's waterworks system, $150,000 of bonds for the purpose
of constructing extensions and improvements to the City's sewer system,
and w4"200,000 of bonds for the purpose of constructing extensions and
improvements to the City's electric light system;
