AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS
OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCL UDE SAID HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS,
AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE
INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS
AND PRIVILEGES OI' OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING
SAID kGTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND
ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed
and acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having an
interest in the following described territory, to -wit:
All that certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated
in Williamson County, Texas, a part of the C'. r Survey,
Abstract # 498, and being a part of the tract of 357 acre tract described
in a deed from Kate Nowlin, et al, to J. T. Parker, of record in Vol. 341,
page 75, of the deed records of Williamson County, Texas, and more fully
described by metes and bounds as follows, to wit:
BEGINNING at the most western corner of "Country Club Acres,
Unit II", according to the official map of said addition of record in
Vol. , page , of the Map or Plat records of said County,
said beginning point being South 09*32' East 1546.0 feet (computed) from
the North or NE corner of said Pulsifer Survey;
THENCE South 33*54' East with the margin of Parkway Street 523.70
feet to a steel pin set at the intersection of same, with the Southeast
margin of "Country Club Road", and being the most Eastern corner of the
premises herein described, and also being the most Eastern corner of
"Country Club Acres, Unit III;
THENCE South 51*00' West with the NW margin of "Country Club
Road" 203.41 feet to a steel pin set for the South corner hereof;
THENCE North 49*40' West 409.55 feet to a steel pin set in the
bed of a small ravine for corner, from which another steel pin on the
East bank of same bears S 49*40' East 24.38' feet;
THENCE up said ravine with the following meanders:
North 35*22' East 14.35 feet,
North 00*39' West 60.80 feet,
North 11*04' West 71.85 feet, from which a steel pin on the east bank
of said branch bears N 64*00' E 8.00 feet'
THENCE continuing up said branch North 03*25' W"st 60.94 feet,
North 29*10' East 48.75 feet,
North 12*23' East 177.10 feet, and North 16(09' West 174.30 feet to
a steel pin set at the most Western corner of the premises herein
described, same being the West corner of Lot No. Eight (8( of this
subdivision;
THENCE South 70*20' East along the Northeast line of said Lot
No. 8, 216.00 feet to a steel pin set in the curving Northwest R.O.W.
of "lunch Road" for corner;
THENCE with the curving R.O.W. of said Street, the degree of said
curve being 34*44', the central angle 14*03', the Radius 165.00 feet,
on a chord which bears North 56*01' East, a distance of 40.36, an
arc distance of 40.46 feet to a steel pin set for the P.T. of said
curve, and being the most Northern corner of the premises herein
described;
THENCE South 26*57' East 60.00 feet to a steel pin set for the P.T.
of said curve, which is 30 feet from and at right angles to the center-
line of said street;
THENCE with the curving SE margin of said "Ranch Road", the
degree of said curve being 54*341, the central angle being 96*57', and
having a radius of 105.00 feet, and the long chord of which bears
South 14*36' East 157.22 feet, an arc distance along said curve of
177.67 feet to a steel pin set at the P.C. of said curve, which is

30 feet from and right angles to the centerline of said street;
THENCE South 33*54' East 6.50 feet to a steel pin set in the Northwest
line of "Country Club Acres, Unit II, said point also being the West
corner of Lot No. 12, in Block No. 6 of said Addition;
THENCE South 62*26' West with the original MY line of said addition,
60.43 feet tp_the place of beginning, and containing an area of 4.590
acres of land, more or less.
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City
of Georgetown, Texas, and is not more than one-half (;) mile in width,
and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the
day of , 1969, such date being not less than 5
and not more than 30 days from the date hereof, and
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against
the same the City Council has voted to grant such petition and to annex
said territory to the City of Georgetown, Texas;

THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas:
THAT THE FOREGOING described property be and the same is hereby annexed
to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and that the boundary
limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be and the same are hereby extended
to include the above described territory within the city limits of the
City of Georgetown, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included within
the territorial limits of said city, and said land and the future inhabi-
tants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and privileges of
other citizens of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and shall be bound by the
acts and ordinances of said city.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of
Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance.

COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared
Jay C. Sloan, known to me to be the person and officer whose name is sub-
scribed to the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged to me that the same
was the act of said corporation, that he was duly authorized to perform
the same, that he executed the same as the act of said corporation, for
the purposes and consideration therein expressed, and in the capacity
