BY INJUNCTION IN THE DISTRICT COURT.
W!UtEAS, the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160, Acts of the
58th Legislature, regular Eession, 1963; compiled as Article 970a, Vernon's
Texas Civil Statutes) authorizes any city to extend the application of
its ordinance establishing rules and regulations governing plats and the
subdivision of land to all of the area under its extraterritorial jurisdic-
tion as defined in such Act; now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE; CITY COUNCIL
OF THE; CITY OF GEORGETOIVN, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Ordinance passed and approved on the 16th day of
December 1968, establishing rules and regulations governing plats and
the subdivision of land in Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas:
is hereby extended in its application to include all of the area within,
the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown, Texas. The
provisions of such ordinance shall have the same force and effect within
said area of extraterritorial jurisdiction as within the corporate limits
of the City of Georgetown, Texas, except as provided in Sections 2 and 3
of this ordinance.
Section 2. No violation of any provision of such Ordinance outside
the corporate limits of the city, but within such city's area of extrater-
retorial jurisdiction, shall constitute a misdemeanor under such ordinance,
nor shall any fine provided for in such Ordinance be applicable to a vio-
lation within such area of extraterritorial jurisdiction.
Section 3. In the event any provision of said Ordinance is violated
within the area of extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and outside its corporate limits, the City may institute any appro-
priate action or proceedings in the District Court to enjoin the violation
of such ordinance.
