ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A 0.68 ACRE TRACT OF LAND,
A STREET OR ROAD, PART OF OUTLOT NO. 6, DIVISION "A" OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, heretofore by Deed dated April 28, 1969 a tract of 0.68 acre out
of and a part of Outlot io. 6, Division "A" of the City of Georgetown, Texas as
hereinafter more particularly described was given to the City of Georgetown, Texas
by instrument recorded in Vol. 517, Page 103, Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas and said tract of land was accepted by the City of Georgetown, Texas for a
street or roadway purposes by ordinance duly adopted by said City and,
WHEREAS, it is now desired to vacate and abandon said land and said street
for a roadway in order that the Housing Authority of the City of Georgetown,
Texas may construct thereon a roadway or a street in connection with the develop-
ment of said Housing Authority property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS that the following described property be and the same is hereby vacated,
closed and abandoned as a street or roadway by the City of Georgetown, Texas;
BEING 0.68 acre tract out of outlet 6, Division "A", as shown on map of
Georgetown, Texas, part of 5.92 acre tract in Deed to Ramirez described in
Vol. 317, Page 232, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at a point in West line of 5.92 acre tract, 273.5 ft. from North-
west corner of same, in East right-of-way line of M1M Railroad spur.
THENCEj89 deg. 34 min. E. 442.4 feet -to the beginning of a cul-d-sac of 50
foot radius from center line, said radius point bears S. 60 Deg. 26 min. E.
50 feet.
THENCE around the arc of cul-d-sac'to a point in South right-of-way line of
street which bears south 0. deg. 26 min. E. 50 feet,

THENCE S. 89 deg. 34'W. 337.2 feet to a point in West line of 5.92 acre
tract and East right-of-way of Railroad Spur.
THENCE N. 6 deg. 25 min. W. 50.3 ft. to POINT OF BEGINNING.
READ, passed and adopted by unanimous vote this 22nd day of March, 1971.
