GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS
An amendment to the Ordinance of the City of George-
town, Texas, amending the ZONING ORDINANCE which became ef-
fective on September 2, 1961, amending the Zoning District
Map and making this amendment a part of the Map of the original
ordinance; to change the hereinafter described real estate in
said City from "R-1" one family dwelling District to "B-211,
Commercial District, as hereinafter set forth.
BE IT ORADINED by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City
Council for the purposes of changing the Zoning Ordinance on
the following described real estate:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block 1, Country Club Estates,
an Addition to the City of Georgetown, Williamson
County, Texas.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the pro-
posed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning
Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved
the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described
property from "R-1" to "B-2" Commercial District, which said
meeting was held on February 16, 1965.
WHEREAS, the City Council before adopting this amend-
ment to said Zoning ordinance gave notice of said hearing by
publishing the same three times in the Filliamson County Sun,
a weekly newspaper in the pity of Georgetown, Texas, which said
notice stated the time and place of such hearing and which time
was not earlier than fifteen (15) days from the first day of
such publication; and,
WHEREAS, the ;ity Planning Commission approved the afore-
said change in the Zoning Ordinance; and no protest was entered
opposing the proposed change; and
WHEREAS, written notices were given to all of the owners
real property within 200 feet of the above described property,
as required by law;

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown that the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map of
said City of Georgetown be amended so that the above described
property shall be and the same is herei.)y removed from 11R-1" One
family dwelling district, to "B-2" Commercial District.
The enactment of this ordinance being necessary to the
immediate preservation of public business and to provide for
the usual daily operation of the municipal department, it is
declared to oe an emergency measure, which shall have and take
effect following its present reading and adoption.
READ, PASSED, AND APPROVED to be adopted bar unanimous
vote this the 8th, day of March, 1965.
