Motion by Alderman J. R. Chastain that the above Ordinance be C4
passed to its second reading and that on all rppdings hereafter
theeusual rules for passing ordinances be hereby suspended, and
the same be reed by caption, -vvas seconded by AldermanF. E. Buchholz,
and the same eras passed unanimously, the following being the vote:
Ayes --Buchholz, Chastain, Hamilton, Tioffman, 7ilcox. Noes. None.

Be It Further Resolved, That no deduction of regular or full-time--
emnloyees' ws.qPs shall be made for absences from work from sickness.
Neither shall Reductions be made from their ti►,a-P.'ps for other emergency
absences if such absences are approved by both the PmDloyeeh immediate
sunerintendent and the City 11,anager.
