ANNEXING ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GEORGE-
TOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO
AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND
GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL
OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS
BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged
by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described
territory, to -wit:
BEING 24.25 acres, 20.99 acres in the N. Porter Survey, Abstract No. 496
and 3.26 acres in the J. B. Pulsifer Survey, Abstract No. 498, in Williamson
County, Texas, and being -out of and a part of a tract of 158.09 acres
described in a deed from J. T. Parker, Et Ux, to J. T. Parker, Jr., Et
Al, dated December 22, 1967 and recorded in Vol. 504, Page 194 of the Deed
Records of Williamson County, Texas; also being all of a tract of 0.96
acres conveyed by Addie V. Parker to J. T. Parker, Jr.
BEGINNING at an iron stake at the Southwest corner of Crestview Addition,
Unit4°to the City of Georgetown, Texas, said point being S 79045' W, 50.10
feet from the upper Southeast corner of the above referred to 158.09
acre tract, which point is the Northwest corner of Lot 13, Block 5 of
Country Club Acres, Unit 2 to the City of Georgetown, Texas, said beginning
point is also S 31001 % 3475.26 feet from the Northeast corner of the
Pulsifer Survey;
THENCE S 79045' W, 385.7 feet and N 88000'W, 484.25 feet along the North
line of Country Club Acres, Unit 2, to an iron stake marking the Southwest
corner of Lot 4, Block 1 hereof, said point being S 88000 % 30.75 feet
from an angle point in the North line of the said Country Club Acres, Unit 2;
this point is also the Southeast corner of Country Club Acres, Unit 4;
THENCE N 2051'E, 124.03 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 1
hereof, said point also being the Northeast corner of Lot 3,- Block 1 of
Country Club Acres, Unit 4 to the City of Georgetown, Texas;
THENCE S 89018'E, 14.87feet to another corner of the said Country Club
Acres, Unit 4;
THENCE following the easterly boundary line of the said Country Club
Acres, Unit 4 as follows:
N 2004 % 60.00 feet;
N 87056'W, 90.00 feet to the beginning of a curve to the right;
THENCE 71.65 feet along the arc of said curve whose radius is 77.46 feet and
whose central angle is 53 Degrees;
THENCE N 34056'W, 310.93 feet to the beginning of a curve to the right;
THENCE 65.42 feet along the arc of a curve whose radius is 45.07 feet and
whose central angle is 83 Degrees and 10 minutes;
THENCE N 48014 % 39.57 feet;
THENCE N 41046'W, 60.00 feet;
THENCE S 48014'W, 122.4 feet;
THENCE N 41050'W, 121.30 feet to a corner of said Country Club Acres, Unit
4 for the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE along the North boundary line hereof as follows:

N 83°10'E, 225.00 feet;
N 65010'E, 160.00 feet;

S 39058'E, 40.07 feet;

THENCE S 39058'E, 90.00 feet to a point on the North boundary line of Power
Road and on the North Boundary line of Crestview Addition, Unit 4 to the
City of Georgetown, Texas;
THENCE S 48010'W, 425.08 feet to the Northwest corner of the said Crestview
Addition, Unit 4;

I, Russell D. Parker, do hereby certify that I did survey on the ground the above
described subdivision, marking all lot corners with iron stake, and that to the
best of my knowledge and belief, said description is true and correct.

WHEREAS, said tract of land.is contiguous and adjacent to the City of George-
town, Texas, and is not more than one-half �Z) mile in width; and
WIMUFAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 14th day of
February, 1972, such date being not less than 5 and not more than 30 days from the
date hereof; and
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the
same, the City council has voted to grant such petition and to annex said terri-
tory to the City of Georgetown, Texas;
NOW,THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas;
That the foregoing described property be and the same is hereby annexed to
the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the
City of Georgetown, Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include the above
described territory within the city limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and
the -same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said city,
and said land and future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all
rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and shall
be bound by the acts and ordinances of said City. Provided, however, that this
annexation shall not impose any obligation on said city to provide such capital
improvement facilities as sewer, water, streets, curbs and gutters, or like services.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with -the County Clerk of Georgetown,
Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all members of the City Council on its first
reading the 14th day of February, 1972.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all members of the City Nuncil on its second
reading on the 13th day of March, 1972.

Q AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY
C� THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01' GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, ON THE 12TH DAY
OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP, AND MAKING THIS
AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE; TO CHANGE
THE S.W. CORNER OF BLOCK NO. 11 OF THE SNYDER ADDITION FROM "R-S
SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT" TO "RM-1 TWO FAMILY DWELLINGS OR DUPLEX DISTRICT",
AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. BE IT 011DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council -for the purpose of
changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following described real estate;
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the
City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and being a part of Block No. 11
of the Snyder Addition to said City of Georgetown and being further described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the S.W.corner of said Block No. 11;
THENCE N 95 feet with the W line of said Block;
THENCE E 80 feet;
THENCE S 95 feet to the S line of said block;
THENCE W 80 feet with the S line of said block and the N line of 13th
Street to the place of BEGINNING being part of the same land conveyed to Jesse A.
Todd described in Volume 421, Page,683, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning
Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and
report; and
WHEREAS the City Planning and Zoning Commission before considering said
application gave notice of such hearing by publishing the same one time in the
Williamson County Sun, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which
said notice stated the time and place of such hearing and which time was not
earlier than fifteen (15) days from the first day of such publication; and
WHEREAS the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of
said Zoning Ordinance regarding the above described property from R-S Single
Family Residential District to iilV1-1, Two Family Dwellings or Duplex District,
which said matter was considered by said City Planning and Zoning Commission
on the 15th day of February, 1972; and
WHEREAS written notices were given to all of the owners of the lots within
200 feet of the above described property required by law;
NOW THEREFORE and be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown,
be amended so that property described above shall be and the same is hereby
removed from "R-S Single Family Residence District" to "RM-1 Two Family Dwellings
or Duplex,District".
