ANNEXATION ORDINANCE:
ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER, DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY; TEXAS, AND
EXTENDING: THE .BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO
INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN SAID
CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO ALL THE INHABITANTS
OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE- RIGHTS .AND PRIVILEGES OF
OTHER CITIZENS, AND BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL
OF -THE ACTS, ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, OF SAID CITY.'
WHEREAS, a petition has been signed by all of the property owners who are citizens
of the State of Texas, of the following described territory, to-w.it:.
A tract of land adjacent to the -present City Limits of the City of Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas, hereinafter described and set out in full by metes
and bounds; and
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and not more than one-half (1/2) mile in width; and
WHEREAS, said petition, desiring and requesting the annexation of said territory
to said city, has been presented to the City Council, and has attached to it the affidavit
of all of said applicants to the effect that said petition is signed by all of .the owners of
said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAfNED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY, OF, GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That the following described property, to -wit:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at the S. E. corner of the Williams Addison Survey,
Abstract #21, thence N. 190 W. 8232 feet, thence S. 710 W. for 4222 feet, thence N.
190 W, for 3450 feet, thence S. 710 W. for 3945 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING
of this 21.68. acre tract; .
THENCE N. 710 00' E. for 652.56 feet;
THENCE N. 700 47' E. for 264.25 feet;
THENCE N. 180 24' E. for 18.33 feet;
THENCE iSL 710 36' E. for 125.00 feet;
THENCE N. 180 24' E. for 157.65 feet;
THENCE witha curve to the left whose chord bears N. 180 09' E. for 1.75 feet;

taining 21.68 acres of land.
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County,
Texas, and that the boundary I i mi is of the City of Georgetown, Texas, be and the same
are hereby extended to include the above described territory within the city limits
of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and that the same shall hereafter be included within
the terHtoriol limits of said City, and the inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled
to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and they
shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of said city.
READ AND PASSED on this the first reading by an affirmative vote of all members
of the City Council, this the 11 th day of March, 1974.
READ AND PASSED on the second reading by an affirmative vote of all members
of the City Counci I, this the 8th day of Apri I, 1974.

THE STATE OF TEXAS PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON
The undersigned, being all of the owners of that certain tract of 21.68 acres of land
adjoining the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, described by metes and bounds
as fof lows, to -wit:
Do hereby respectfully petition the City of Georgetown to pass an Annexation Ordinance
annexing this property to the City Limits of the City of Georgetown, Williamson County,
Texas, as soon as possible.
We certify that the above described tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the pre-
sent city limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and not more than one-half (1/2) mile
in width and that this petition is signed and duly acknowledged by each and every person
having any interest in said land.
We further respectfully request that since delay in passing this Ordinance will delay the
beginning of construction of a subdivision to be known as "University Hills Section One", that
the Council pass this ordinance as an emergency if possible making it effective immediately.
