LOCATED AT THE OFFICE OF THE CITY SECRETARY, 103 EAST 7TH STREET, GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF 'THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE; TO CHANGE THAT PARCEL OR TRACT OF LAND IN THE N. PARTER .SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 497, IN THE CITY- OF GEORGE.TOWN, FROM "Cl LOCAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT" TO "C2B COMMERCIAL SECOND HEIGHT" AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH: BE IT ORDAIDNED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF: GEORGE- TOWN, TEXAS: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of changing the Zoning Ordinance on the following described real property: BEING 8.33 acres in the N. Porter Survey, Abstract No. 497 in Williamson County, Texas, and being out of and a part of a 36.31 acre tract described in a deed from Russell: Parker and wife, Irene Williams Parker to, Russell D.,Parker.-and wife, Mary! F-:,Pctrker and Rondald W. Parker and .wife, Billie Ruth Parker, said deed being of record in Vol. 560,. Page-318-of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas. BEGINNING at an iron stake set at the Southeast corner of the said 36.31 acre tract, said point being on the- West.R. Q: W. ,I,ine of Interstate- Highway No 35, this -point is also" the Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed by Russell Parker, et ux, to Austin Production Credit Association, deed dated January 5, ,1970- and recorded in: Vol. 523,,Page 473 of the Deed Records; of Wi l l iarnson County, Texas; _ , - THENCE N 29018'E, 879.19 feet along the West R.O.W. line of Interstate Highway No. 35 to an iron stake set for the Northeast corner of the said 36.31 acre tract; THENCE N 24023'W, 381.89 feet with the fence along the North boundary line of the said 36.31 acre tract to a point for the most northerly corner hereof; THENCE S 32034'30"E, 1228.21 feet to a point on the North boundary line of the Austin Production Credit Association tract of land said tract being described in a deed of record in Vol. 523, Page 473 bf the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas; THENCE S78026' E, 396.76 feet along the said North boundary line of the Austin Production Credit Association tract to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. WHEREAS, the City Council has Submitted the proposed change in, the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation -and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission before considering said application gave notice of such hearing by publishing the same one time in the Williamson County Sun, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which said notice stated the time and place of such hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen (15) days from the first day of such publication; and WHEREAS THE City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance regarding the above described property from "Cl Local Commercial Distract" to C213 Commercial Second Height, which said matter was considered by said City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 4th day of April, 1974; and WHEREAS written notices were given to all of the owners of the lots within 200 feet of the above described property required by law; 367 NOW THEREFORE And Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be amended so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from "Cl Local Commercial District" to "C2B Commercial Second Height". The enactment of this Ordinance being necessary to the immediate preservation of public business and to provide for the usual daily operation of a commercial enterprise which shall have and take effect following its second reading and adoption.
